We hiked the Negro Bill Canyon trail the first day. It was a great hike along a clear stream between canyon walls, but the sky looked wet and we experienced no spectacular panoramic views.

At the end of the trail the stream flows out of the red rocks

and you can sit beneath the massive Morning Glory Arch while eating lunch.
Farther up highway 128 from Negro Bill Canyon is the Fisher Towers trail. The road to the trailhead is very rough. Rain was spitting at us there so we didn’t stay long.
